Maths Problem Solving using Robotics.

Today for Problem Solving Maths we learned to programme robots.

Programming robots to travel a set distance, turn and return requires the use if measurement, angles, coding and problem solving.

Creating a Makerspace and makers culture. As students are introduced to new tools and skills, technology is available to continue to provide motivational learning experiences. We are working with Mindlab in Petone to give students exciting opportunities. Where they are developing skills to bring back to the classroom. Experiences include, robotics, coding using scratch, stop motion filming and creating music with the MakeyMakey -circuit board that enables you to wire up a range of objects then programme a response.
