Mind Lab Visit - Scratch and Makey Makey's

Today some students from Room 7 and 8 went to The Mind Lab in Petone. There they were introduced to the programming software "Scratch" and a key board extension device called a Makey Makey. Students were creating electrical circuits using themselves and tinfoil, pencils and play dough to control instruments (or sounds) they created on the computer.

It was a great day that showed just how creative they are!
